TL;DR: We don't store your files. Period. DirectFileTransfer uses peer-to-peer technology to transfer files directly between devices. Your files never touch our servers, and we can't access them even if we wanted to.
DirectFileTransfer ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our peer-to-peer file transfer service.
Unlike traditional file sharing services, we do not store, process, or have access to the files you transfer. All file transfers happen directly between your device and your recipient's device using WebRTC peer-to-peer technology.

DirectFileTransfer does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The service is designed for general use and does not target children. Parents should supervise their children's internet usage.
DirectFileTransfer is hosted on Google Cloud Platform in the US-Central region. By using the service, you consent to the transfer and processing of connection metadata in the United States. Your actual files are transferred directly between peers and never reach our servers.
